Japanese for Beginners
At the beginner level (N5), you’ll start learning the basics of Japanese. You’ll learn simple grammar, common words, and around 120 kanji characters. This will help you understand simple things like street signs, menus, and easy instructions. You’ll also be able to listen to slow and clear conversations about basic topics, such as introducing yourself, greeting, and asking simple questions. Your sentences will be simple, but you’ll be able to use basic phrases to talk about everyday situations. You’ll also learn important words like numbers, days of the week, and things you see around you. By the end of this level, you’ll feel more confident in speaking and understanding Japanese in daily life. It’s a great start!
